My name is Michael Ly, and I am fortunate to be born in Canada! Currently, I am a Web Developer at a Beauty-tech company with 3 years of experience. I personally believe that Code and Programs are an expression of Creativity.
In my free time, I enjoy modding video games, writing science-fiction stories, reading, creating spreadsheets, and cycling.
As for my inspiration: I grew up watching the Star Wars Trilogy over and over again, and playing a Nintendo DS game called Infinite Space. My lifelong dream is to travel to the Stars above, to join humanity at the next frontier.
As that dream remains at the edge of science-fiction for now, I strive to create my own worlds through code, artwork, and stories.

My journey began with humble modding of a space sim video game called Transcendence. I hungrily devoured every bit of obscure documentation within the codebase and the forums, bringing my own creation to life in XML files and Lisp.
Even now, I am continuing to learn new languages, tools, environments. Most important of all, I am continuing to form my own opinions on them.
